In the fall of 1998, something was brewing underneath a city by the name of Raccoon in Oregon. A team of elite soldiers were sent into the underground facility known as the Hive and with them took a civilian, fellow environmentalist Matt Addison and one of their own soldiers who had lost her memory; Alice Abernathy.
What they found however was both evil, disturbing and amongst all, ungodly. Several team members did not survive, many were murdered violently and ...well eaten. Raccoon City became unstable. The only few survivors decided to go their separate ways.
However, there's always one that stays behind. Fast forward to the nuke that hit Raccoon harder than a punch and a couple years later...Perkins was built. Some people were naive, didn't believe into the hoax that was Terri Morale's tape. But to others...it was real.
But now, what's this? After all the deaths, all of the mistakes there is now a window of opportunity. A new place in place of Raccoon. How strange, there's actual people sitting on benches, going for runs, school buses and the like. People are happy, chatty and care-free. What's wrong with this picture? Why did this one area get quarantined and more importantly, what the hell is wrong with these people?
You as a survivor need to figure out these three things. Why is this happening? Why am I here? And where the hell is this? There's been talk of the Umbrella Corporation coming back on the rebound after the incident in Nevada. Supposedly the entire world turned to sand...but why are some places greener than others? Rivers and lakes didn't quite dry up and the universe wasn't a barren wasteland.
Something's gone screwy. The plan was Alaska, yet that chopper couldn't hold them all and most certainly Las Vegas was no where near Alaska. What if the place you wanted to go, was right back where you started?
It doesn't even matter
