Saoirse rounded the corner onto a street full of dilipitated houses, she had let her feet led the way, something she tended to do when bored. Realising where her feet had led her she looked around, the place looked more like a slum than a street, windows broken and doors missing. Deciding to add to the chaos she walked up to an empty looking house, peeking through the windows. Yep,, this place is empty. Checking the door carefully she pushed on it, making sure it wasn;t already open. Relaxing and taking a breath, she located the lock which was barely any use in a wooden door rotting from the inside out.
"One...good...kick." And the door easily came off its hinges, walking inside she took quik stock and headed for the kitchen area. Saoirse wasn't in the house long, she was looking fro a few things as she new in this area there wasn;t much to find. If she hadn't kicked the door in, no doubt someone else would have within the next day or so. Slinging a small backpack onto her back, she looked at what is in her right hand. An apple she had salvaged, just about edible.
Slowly savouring the apple she ran her other hand through her scruffy hair, making it look even messier. Saoirse knew this area reasonably well, she had grew up not far from it, her mother, father and brother still lived in a musty old appointment with rusted plumbing. She tried to send them things she thought they needed, now and again, In to minds she was almost influenced to visit her family but turned and headed the opposite direction instead. I have a few errands to run. As she moved off she bit into the apple, securing the straps of the backpack.
